Stuttgarter Weindorf 2014

I remember this being the first big German fest we attended after moving here last year. I felt very nostalgic as we walked through this year's wine village at the end of August, remembering how excited we were to start exploring our new city the year before. The set-up was pretty much the same, but I can't believe how much we have changed! Brian and I barely batted an eye as we ordered our food and drinks in German (slightly broken, but very confident!), and Ellie had a full-on conversation with our server. Sadly, I couldn't partake in any of the wines this year but had a yummy slushy drink instead -- I swear there's never a good time to be pregnant in Germany! I'm already looking forward to next year. :)
