The first day of November was unseasonably warm here in Germany, and I'm placing my bets that it's probably the last day for the rest of the year that it will be this warm and sunny (say it ain't so!). While we have lovely walking trails minutes from our house, sometimes it's nice to have a change of scenery so we drove about 20 minutes to some trails we've seen on the way to our friends the Jolly's house. We've always wanted to check them out and couldn't have asked for a better reason than a warm(ish), sunny day!
We brought along Ellie's bike, which turned out to be the best/worst idea ever. When she's on it, she really scoots... until she's done and wants you to carry the bike.
This little bundle was content to conk out in the BOB.
The fall colors were beautiful this year and we even saw a rainbow on our way home.
The days are getting shorter and the air nippier, so soaking in some extra Vitamin D for those gray winter days ahead of us was a must!
