As crazy as this summer has been for us (trust me, we knew what we were getting into when we planned our road trip), we have probably seen -- or still plan to see -- just about every family member and friend that is near and dear to our hearts. Most were planned but a few were last minute, chance meetings. Such was the case when we got to see Dom, one of Brian's close friends from college. When we left San Antonio at the end of last month, we took three days to drive up to Minnesota to spend the Fourth of July week with Brian's family. The first night of that trip we spent in Oklahoma, which just so happened to be fifteen minutes away from the hotel Dom was staying in before an early-morning flight out of Oklahoma City! Not wanting to miss an opportunity to see a good friend, we met for dinner and some long-overdue catching up. After dinner we walked back to our hotel room and chatted for an hour or so (leaving Ellie to her own devices playing her favorite game on the iPad) before bed time rolled around and we said our good byes until next time!
Two good-looking guys! (I'll take the one on the right) :)
