Every now and again Ellie and I play a little game, most often in the car, that involves me asking her what sounds animals make. I thought it would be fun to spice things up and ask her what Mommy and Daddy say. I don't think I was quite prepared for her answer:
Me: "What does the elephant say?"
Ellie: (puts her lips together and blows)
Me: "What does the cow say?"
Ellie: "MOO MOO!!!"
Me: What does a lion say?"
Ellie: (makes a sound in the back of her throat)
Me: "What does a snake say?"
Ellie: "Sssssss!"
Me: "What does Daddy say?"
Ellie: (quiet with a pensive look on her face)
Me: "What does Mommy say?"
Ellie: "NO NO!!"
